Cody Clark has joined Cumulus Media Albuquerque as PD of Variety Hits KDRF (103.3 eD-FM) and APD/PM Driver at Country KRST.
Clark has joined KRST’s lineup to fill the opening left by Juan Velasco’s passing in July (BMM 7/28) and Eddie Haskell’s retirement (BMM 8/2) at the end of August. As a result, KRST Program Director Bev Rainey will transition to middays from 10 am to 2 pm.
Clark most recently was Senior Newscast Director at KCNV-TV Las Vegas.
Clark said, “I’m very excited to be working in Country radio again, and especially on the legendary KRST. I appreciate the chance to work with such a strong female programmer like Bev Rainey and thank her, VP/Market Manager Jeff Berry, and SVP of Programming Operations John Dimick, for this great opportunity.”
Rainey added, “We are thrilled to welcome Cody to the KRST team. The combination of his passion for Country music, his unique talent for connecting with listeners, and his extensive experience in the industry, make him a perfect fit for Albuquerque’s much-loved Country brand.”
