David A. Dein, afternoon host and Production Director at Northwestern Media’s KNWS (Life 101.9)/Waterloo, IA, will move to mornings starting next week.
Dein joined the station in May 2021 after serving as the Imaging Producer at The Lighthouse Radio Network. Prior to that, he was Assistant Program Director at WAWZ (Star 99.1 FM)/Middlesex, NJ.
“I have a heart to see heaven stuffed with people,” said Dein. “So, every morning I’ll strive to share stories that drive people to be passionate and driven to share Jesus with others. Getting to bring that energy and mission to the mornings here at Life 101.9 is an honor. We’re going to continue to laugh and smile, and I hope when people turn on their radios that they have an uplifting day no matter what that day brings.”
Program Director Jessie Browning added, “David is a phenomenal talent with a huge heart for letting people know they are loved by God.I know he’s going to do a great job connecting with listeners and encouraging them every morning.”
Browning will move from her current midday post to host the afternoon show.
