Another Taylor Swift stunt has ended, with Mt. Wilson Broadcasters launching “Go Country Gold” on 1260 and 105.1 in Los Angeles.
Core artists include Garth Brooks, Alabama, Reba, Randy Travis, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait, The Judds, Alan Jackson and Patsy Cline.
“We won’t forget about the 60s or 70s and also feature West Coast classics that influenced the format,” says Owner and station manager Saul Levine. “For years, Southern California Country fans sold out venues from the Palomino Club and The Troubadour to The Forum and now So-Fi Stadium. We’re proud to offer these passionate music fans a second radio station for Country Music.”
The company also owns “Go Country 105,” which features a current Country format.
1260 had previously been “K-Mozart,” which is now heard on 105.1-HD2 and translator 98.3.
