Joe “Crash” Albrecht has been promoted to SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Anchorage and Fairbanks, AK.
Albrecht said, “I’m beyond excited to embark on this new chapter with iHeart Alaska. Having started my career here in Anchorage over 35 years ago, it’s a full-circle moment. I look forward to working with the talented team here to take these longstanding heritage brands to even greater success. I’m grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started.”

Albrecht has dedicated over 25 years to iHeart Anchorage, most recently as the Program Director of Sports “550 The Zone” KTZN, News/Talk 650 KENI, and Classic Rock “100.5 The Fox” KBFX. He also hosts the afternoon show on “The Fox.
He steps into the role left vacant by Mark Murphy’s recent retirement. Murphy previously held the morning slot at AC “Magic 98.9” Anchorage.
