Thursday Night Football Up 5% YoY for Bucs-Falcons on Prime Video

Thursday Night Football on Prime Video averaged 12.3 million viewers during the latest broadcast which featured the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Atlanta won the game in overtime.

This marks the second-straight week Thursday Night Football has been up year over year as it was 5% better than last season. It’s the second-straight week in which TNF has attracted a larger audience than the comparable game from a year ago. Through four games, the 2024 TNF season is averaging 14.17 million viewers, up 20% above last year and up 48% over 2022. 

These numbers are from the Nielsen Panel Only measurement and will most likely increase when the full report is out on Monday.

Prime Video notes that so far this season, the median age for TNF is 47.5, almost seven years younger than audiences watching the NFL on linear networks which is 54.7.

TNF Tonight which airs prior to each game is averaging 1.66 million viewers through the first four weeks. That is an increase of 19% over the full season average from last season.
