Fox News Digital Sees 31% Growth in Multiplatform Visitors During 3rd Quarter

The Fox News mobile app accounted for 6.4 million unique visitors during the quarter.

As the third quarter came to a close, Fox News Digital saw continued increases in its usage throughout the three-month period.

The brand led all news outlets in multiplatform views and minutes while seeing double-digit upticks in both categories compared to the same window in 2023, according to Comscore. The finish marked the 14th consecutive quarter the company led multiplatform minutes and the ninth c consecutive quarter it led with multiplatform views.

In total, 10.4 billion minutes were spent by digital consumers with the brand. Fox News Digital saw 5.3 billion multiplatform views and an average of 116 million monthly unique visitors. That average was up 31% compared to July, August, and September 2023. The Fox News mobile app accounted for 6.4 million unique visitors during the quarter.

Despite the uptick in unique visitors, Fox News still trails CNN in that category. The network saw 123.6 million unique visitors in the same timeframe, which represented a 3% increase.

Both CNN.com (3.8 billion) and NYTimes.com (4.9 billion) trail Fox News (5.3 billion) in total multiplatform views. Fox News Digital (10.4 billion) also leads both brands — as CNN featured 6.6 billion and The New York Times saw 5.1 billion — in total multi-platform minutes.

The brand also remained the most engaged news outlet on social media for the 42nd consecutive quarter, with a 60% increase in social media interactions compared to the 2023 third quarter.
