Brett Elmore, the owner and announcer of WJLX 101.5 radio station in Walker County, AL has passed away at the age of 41. The cause of death is reported as a massive heart attack.
Elmore had owned the station since 2008, succeeding his father, Johnny Elmore.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we formally announce the passing of owner and station manager Brett Elmore,” the station posted on its Facebook page Tuesday. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Elmore family.”
