Former FOX Business Network correspondent and fill-in anchor Kelly O’Grady is joining CBS News, the network has announced.
O’Grady will work on the MoneyWatch team that includes Jo Ling Kent and Jill Schlesinger.
“With CBS News 24/7 adding additional live hours during the day, Kelly will help provide more coverage of daily markets, breaking business and consumer news, new technology, and other topics,” Senior Vice President of CBS News 24/7, Special Events, and Special Projects David Reiter wrote in an internal memo.
In a post on social media, O’Grady shared her excitement for the move.
“Thrilled to share that I’m joining the (CBS News) family! Starting today, I will be working with the MoneyWatch team to bring you insights on the most pressing market, business, and tech stories,” she wrote. “Looking forward to this new chapter…”
While working at FOX Business, Kelly O’Grady spent time based in both New York and Los Angeles. In her new role with CBS News, she’ll be based solely in the Big Apple.
