Prime Video Draws 13.76 Million Viewers for Vikings-Rams Thursday Night Football Matchup

The game was a double-digit increase over the comparable game from a year ago and also kept alive Prime Video's streak of six consecutive Thursday Night Football events to draw more than 12 million viewers.

The full numbers have come in on last Thursday night’s Minnesota Vikings – Los Angeles Rams games which saw Matthew Stafford throw four touchdown passes to lead the Rams to a 30-20. 13.76 million viewers, on average, tuned into the broadcast on Amazon’s Prime Video. The game was a double-digit increase over the comparable game from a year ago and also kept alive Prime Video’s streak of six consecutive Thursday Night Football events to draw more than 12 million viewers.

For the season to date, TNF on Prime in 2024 is averaging 14.26 million viewers per game. In 2023, the full season average was 11.86 million viewers and the season before in 2022 the average was 9.58 million.

Prime Video also reports the median age for TNF is 47.7, more than seven years younger than audiences watching the NFL on linear networks (55), and almost 15 years younger than the broadcast primetime average (62.5).

Thursday Night Football features Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth with Kaylee Hartung reporting from the sidelines. Next up the crew will have the 6-2 Houston Texans at the 2-6 New York Jets. They will start November in Baltimore as the Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals.
