Barstool Sports announced a big in studio guest tonight for Game 5 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers. When the game reached a 7-run lead in the 8th inning and Game 5 became a certainty, the team announced their guest for the game will be none other than New York sports radio legend Mike Francesa.
The announcement was made, “Let’s say it now, a seven-run lead is a good cushion, assuming the Yankees hold on, we’ve got a big guest joining us in the cave tomorrow night, Mike Francesa.” Afterwards, the team claps and yells and you hear a big, “Yeah baby!” in the background. “We’re pulling out all the big stops!”
The announcement concludes with, “We are pulling out all the big guns, Francesa, in the building tomorrow night.”
Harrison Francesa, Mike’s son, is an intern at Barstool Sports and he posted on his X account last night saying, “Over the past few years, I’ve received many comments about wanting to see my Dad’s live reactions during games, so tomorrow night, he will join Barstool’s Yankees stream for game 5.”
The Dodgers lead the series 3-1 and can close out the seven-game series tonight in New York. First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET,
