Soaring Eagle Promotions’ Christian AC “Rise-FM” network in Ohio is set to merge with River Radio Ministries’ “The River” network, both of which will transition to Christmas music beginning Friday, November 29.
Soaring Eagle operates several stations: 88.5 WKEN in Kenton, 88.9 WHEI in Tiffin, 88.9 WSOH in Zanesfield, 90.1 WJEE in Bolivar, and 90.7 WVMC-FM in Mansfield. Additionally, the network includes translators 88.9 Findlay, 91.1 Ashland, and 102.7 in Jefferson.
Soaring Eagle Promotions Founder/GM Mark Boyer said, “In September 2023, I sensed the Lord leading me to reach out to RRM CEO Bill Montgomery about this idea. Are we better together? Is this what is best for God’s Kingdom? After many months of discussion and prayer, we determined the answer to both questions was a strong “YES.” Together, we can accomplish more for the Kingdom. We can take the strengths of both our ministries and make a greater Kingdom Impact throughout Ohio. Together, we will continue to provide our listeners spiritual encouragement, build partnerships in the community, and see lives transformed by the Gospel message. We will continue to serve you with a message of hope, outstanding music, and terrific concerts.”
River Radio Ministries will oversee the programming for the stations, while Soaring Eagle Promotions will retain management of local events, including the annual Rock The Lake concert scheduled for August and will assume management of RiverFest, which takes place in June.
