The 2024 election cycle has been a long, sometimes never-ending process. And 77 WABC morning show host Sid Rosenberg has admitted as much.
During Sid and Friends in the Morning on Tuesday, Rosenberg shared that the schedule of covering political and social events in recent months, including many regarding the 2024 election, has tired him tremendously.
“I am exhausted. I went to Israel twice in the last couple of months. It’s a long trip. I went to Pennsylvania last week and a couple times down to Florida. Saw the President down in Mar-a-Lago. I get up at 3:00 in the morning. I’m not complaining, don’t get me wrong. I love my job, and I love you folks, but I’m tired. I’ve worked my ass off … I’ve been living, eating, and breathing this stuff for the better part of two years.”
Rosenberg’s comments came after he discussed the travel schedule for former President Donald Trump on Monday as the Republican nominee traveled to three states on the final day.
“I’m only going to be 58. This guy is 78 years old. 78! He doesn’t stop,” said Rosenberg. “There’s never been, in my lifetime, anybody like this guy. I’m sorry. I’ve never seen anybody like President Trump and that type of energy.”
He spent time the past two weekends campaigning for Donald Trump in both Pennsylvania and at Madison Square Garden in New York, in addition to visiting the Republican nominee at his Florida home.
Sid Rosenberg added that if Kamala Harris wins the race for the White House on Tuesday night, he won’t be in the 77 WABC studios on Wednesday because he wouldn’t know what to talk about for four hours.
