Fox News led both network and cable news for the election night coverage centered on the race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. That audience carried over into Wednesday, too.
As Vice President Harris made her concession speech on Wednesday, 7.9 million viewers tuned to the cable news network to watch. Of those 7.9 million, 1.4 million were in the key Adults 25-54 demographic.
MSNBC averaged 2.3 million viewers while CNN saw 2.2 million. On the network news side, ABC News featured an audience of 2.4 million while an additional 1.8 million watched the speech on NBC News.
Fox News saw high ratings throughout the day, not just limited to the speech from Kamala Harris. Special Report with Bret Baier saw an average audience of 5.1 million viewers, according to Nielsen. Additionally, The Five was watched by 7.2 million viewers.
The network averaged an audience of 5.1 million viewers during its primetime window. For the total day, it averaged 4 million viewers.
