In the days following the election of Republican nominee Donald Trump, Fox News led all of television in ratings with millions of viewers.
From November 4th through November 11th, the network averaged 5.4 million viewers. That topped ABC, which featured 4.9 million viewers, and CBS and NBC which each finished with an average of 4.1 million viewers.
In primetime, the network finished the week with an average of 4.3 million viewers and 2.6 million in the total day (Monday-Sunday, 6 AM-6 AM ET) ratings. It marked the best week in both metrics since November 2020.
During The Five, the network averaged 5.3 million viewers for the week, while shows like Special Report with Bret Baier and The Ingraham Angle averaged 4 million viewers. Jesse Watters Primetime (4.7 million), and Hannity (3.9 million) each saw large audiences during the decisive week.
On election night specifically, Fox News averaged 9.8 million viewers between 8-11 PM ET, topping every other television outlet in the process.
