Educational Media Foundation’s Contemporary Worship station, “Air 1,” has officially launched on Northeast Digital & Wireless’ 103.3 WIXM Waterbury and 98.3, Burlington, VT, in anticipation of the station’s acquisition.
WIXM has been running a redirect loop for the last two months, coinciding with the relocation of its “Rock 103.3” WWMP brand to 102.3 Grand Isle in mid-September.
According to the network affiliation agreement, EMF is set to pay $3,500 per month for the station lease, which will conclude upon the finalization of its acquisition. However, this acquisition has yet to be officially filed with the FCC.
“Air 1” can now be accessed in Burlington through Christian Ministries Inc.’s 94.9 and 91.5 WGLY-HD2. The organization also operates the “Air 1” network via translators in Barre and Rutland, VT.
