Gray Television to Rebrand as Gray Media in 2025

One day after announcing it had struck a new deal to keep all its ABC affiliates intact, Gray Television announced it would rebrand to Gray Media in 2025.

The company announced that its board of directors has unanimously voted to change the name of the company on January 1st.

“Over the past decade, Gray has grown into new geographic and business markets, while also expanding content and product offerings for our loyal viewers,” Executive Chairman Hilton H. Howell said in a statement. “Our reach has diversified beyond local media, and we’re investing time and resources into new business models and technologies — more now than at any other time in the company’s 127-year history.

The change won’t affect the company’s trading symbols. Gray Television projects it will begin trading under the Gray Media moniker on Friday, January 10th.
