Cumulus Media Des Moines OM Chad Taylor has posted on Facebook that his position has been eliminated.
Taylor posted, in part, “I am writing to announce that my role at Cumulus Media has been eliminated, a development that I greet with a mix of sadness and anticipation. During my 7.5-year tenure in Des Moines, I have accumulated a wealth of experience and formed lasting bonds with colleagues and friends. As I process this change, I am also excited to discover the new paths that God has laid out before me.”
Taylor also hosted a shift on Westwood One Hot AC while overseeing operations and programming for Des Moines stations Nash FM 97.3 KHKI, 95 KGGO, 92.5 KJJY, 98.3 The Vibe KWQW, and 1700 The Champ.
Other stops include Townsquare St. Cloud, MN, Community First, Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Z International, where he provided personal and tour management from artists including Jordan Knight and Danny Wood (New Kids on the Block), Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), Bryan Abrams (Color Me Badd), Brainz Davis (MC Brains), PM Dawn, and Morgan Heritage.
