The January 2025 podcast rankings from Podtrac are out, and news/talk hosts like Dan Bongino, Tucker Carlson, and Shawn Ryan saw top placement in the rankings.
The top three finishers in the U.S. Unique Monthly Audience rankings were unchanged from the previous month as NPR News Now, The Daily, and Up First from NPR held the top spots.
The Shawn Ryan Show catapulted into the top five, jumping three places to earn the fourth overall slot. It moved past Dateline NBC (5th), Fox News Hourly Update (6th), and The Dan Bongino Show (7th) during the month.
The Tucker Carlson Show — the program helmed by the former Fox News star — finished January in the eighth position.
Elsewhere in the top 20, The Ben Shapiro Show dropped one place to 13th overall. Today, Explained remained steady at 16th, while 20/20 from ABC News and Morning Wire from The Daily Wire each dropped one position to 19th and 20th, respectively.
In the top Podcast Publishers & Networks rankings from Podtrac, iHeart Audience Network and iHeartPodcasts remained in the top two positions. Libsyn, Acast, and NPR rounded out the top five spots. Also earning top ten finishes were Disney (6th), Vox (7th), Fox Audio Network (8th), PodcastOne (9th), and The Daily Wire (10th).
