The 67th running of the Daytona 500 will feature comprehensive extended coverage this weekend, as SiriusXM has announced special broadcasts. Among the highlights, a live episode of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s podcast, Dale Jr. Download, will kick off the coverage on Thursday. The nationwide satellite radio provider has confirmed they will offer listeners an extensive lineup of live race broadcasts, including in-car audio from drivers via the Driver2Crew Chatter channels. Furthermore, there will be daily coverage from Daytona International Speedway, featuring live broadcasts from the Daytona Fan Zone with none other than Earnhardt himself and his media company, Dirty Mo Media.
Kicking off the action, qualifying coverage for the weekend begins Thursday morning, with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio providing live coverage of the weekend’s races in addition to the Daytona 500. Specifically, this will include the Bluegreen Vacations Duel at DAYTONA, scheduled for Thursday evening. Leading up to this, a special live episode of the popular podcast Dale Jr. Download will air, featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. along with several notable racing celebrities such as Justin Allgaier, Hélio Castroneves, Martin Truex Jr., and Cole Pearn. Together, they will preview the upcoming on-track action in the days ahead.
Following the podcast, Thursday’s extended coverage will continue with a live Q&A session at the historic track. Several SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and Dirty Mo personalities—including three-time Daytona 500 Champion Denny Hamlin, Danielle Trotta, Mike Bagley, and Pete Pistone—will take the stage. This special event will be moderated by SiriusXM’s Alex Weaver and Andrew Kurland, giving fans a unique opportunity to engage with the experts.
As the weekend unfolds, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will also provide live coverage of key races. On Friday evening, fans can tune in for the Fresh from Florida 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Then, on Saturday, both the Hard Rock Bet 200 ARCA race and the United Rentals 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race will take place, building up the anticipation for the main event on Sunday.
Finally, live coverage of the Daytona 500 itself begins early Sunday at 7:00 AM ET, with the green flag set to drop at approximately 2:30 PM ET. After the race, post-race coverage will include exclusive interviews with the newly crowned 2025 Daytona 500 Champion and other key figures, all airing live on SiriusXM Channel 90.
