Detroit market veteran Trudi Daniels has exited Classic Rock 106.7 WLLZ Detroit after six years.
Daniels previously spent 22 years at 101 WRIF as a part of the “Drew and Mike” morning show.
Posting on X Daniels said, “It’s been a long strange trip the last 6 years. I’m gonna miss the friends who supported me in the beginning and those who I met along the way on WLLZ.”
Adding in the multipart thread, “You truly were the best part of these past 6 years,” she wrote. “Thanks for Rockin’ with me on Detroit’s wheels! (Love) you all and will miss you terribly.”
In 2019, Daniels joined WLLZ when the station flipped to Classic Rock and brought back the “Detroit’s Wheels” branding.
Daniels has indicated her intention to continue with “The Drew Lane Show” podcast.
