The 2025 BSM Summit presented by Point to Point Marketing heads to Chicago on May 8-9, 2025. Our ticket sale ends tonight so if you’re planning to come and want to save money, visit BSMSummit.com today. You can also find all the information you need about our hotel partner on the conference site as well.
I host this event to inform, entertain, and help improve the sports media industry. Networking is a big part of it too, which is why so many have joined us throughout the years. Rarely do you find rooms where sports radio, sports television, sports podcasting, advertising, social media, and sales professionals gather to converse, learn, celebrate, and advance their business. It’s what makes this event a lot of fun for those who attend. As I tell everyone though, it only works if you’re in the room, and invested in the show.
For planning purposes, the annual Kickoff party presented this year by Magellan AI takes place at the Westin Hotel on Wednesday night May 7th. Our day 1 schedule on Thursday May 8th will run 9a-5p with a 2-hour after party that night at the Chicago Sports Museum. The Summit then wraps up on Friday May 9th with content planned from 9a-1p including the Premiere Networks Awards ceremony.
Previously I revealed that David Kaplan, Jonathan Hood, Mitch Rosen, Danny Zederman, Kevin Cassidy, Keith Williams, John Goforth, and Brandon Spano would join us on stage. Today I’m thrilled to add 5 more talented speakers to our show.
Starting with on-air talent, I’m thrilled to welcome Marc ‘Silvy’ Silverman to the Summit. ‘Silvy’ has teamed with Tom Waddle since 2007 on ESPN 1000, delivering one of sports radio’s most successful afternoon shows. That’s been confirmed time after time in our annual BSM Top 20. I’m excited to have Marc involved in the Summit.
I’m equally ecstatic to welcome Leila Rahimi to our lineup. Leila is a familiar voice to 670 The Score listeners, and has enjoyed a successful career in television too. Her travels have taken her to San Diego, Houston, Dallas, and Philadelphia in addition to Chicago. She actually got her sports radio start in Dallas at The Ticket. I’m looking forward to having her share her perspectives.
The BSM Summit isn’t complete without sharp programming executives. I’m pleased to welcome back the Senior Vice President of Fox Sports Radio and Premiere Networks Scott Shapiro. Additionally, I’m thrilled to add two new voices to the discussion. Audacy Memphis Operations Manager and ESPN 92.9 Program Director Brad Carson, and 680/93.7 The Fan in Atlanta Program Director Andy Roth will make their BSM Summit on-stage debuts this year.
Last but not least, I want to thank Good Karma Brands for signing on as our Networking Break sponsor. They join Point to Point Marketing, Premiere Networks, Steve Stone Voiceovers, Core Image Studio, Magellan AI, Quu, and MRN Radio as sponsors of this year’s event. For details on remaining sponsor opportunities, contact Stephanie Eads at Stephanie@BarrettMedia.com.
We’ll have a bunch of additional announcements in the weeks and months ahead. I’m hoping to reveal our next one early next week. Also, keep an eye out for a brand new website look. We’re always working on making things better!
