Cumulus Media has officially launched a newly syndicated live overnight Country music radio show, which will air on 47 Cumulus Media Country stations across the United States.
“The Overnight Ride” is a Nashville-based program hosted by Justin Franiak. The show will air nightly from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM from the Music Row studios of 103.3 WKDF-FM. It is the only nationally syndicated overnight Country radio show operating live from Music City.
Franiak began his career at Philadelphia’s Sports Radio 94 WIP-FM. He then took on weekend and swing shifts at Country 92.5 XTU-FM in Philadelphia. Shortly after, Franiak expanded his role by assuming hosting responsibilities for the Morning Show at Channel 99.5 in Wilmington, DE, where he served as the On-Air Host of “Deanna and Justin in the Morning.”
Travis Daily, VP of Country, Cumulus Media, said: “Having the only live Country overnight show gives the third shifters a radio show to not only connect with but that they love to call in and participate in. If you listen to the show, you will hear that Justin is already becoming a good friend to everyone, from Emergency Responders on call to the clerk at the overnight truck stop to the actual truck drivers hauling goods across America while the rest of us sleep.”
Franiak commented: “Moving to Nashville has always been a goal of mine, and I am very appreciative that Cumulus Media has provided me the opportunity to come to Music City. Being live in studio and taking calls from around the country is extremely exciting.
