Brian Kelly, former OM/VP of Top 40 programming for Audacy in Milwaukee, was surprised when he recently returned to the building and found his own street named after him.
Kelly, who resigned from his position last February after 30 years with the company, (BMM 2/26) posted on Facebook:
“Thanks to VP/Market Manager Jason Bjorson and the entire gang at Audacy Milwaukee for naming the hallway of studios to this! I’m truly honored and humbled to have my name associated with this place. Buildings are made of bricks and beams, but the heart of any building is the people who bring life to it.”
Continuing, “This isn’t just a recognition of my work–it’s a reflection of the support, collaboration, and inspiration I’ve received from so many of you over the years. I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited about what comes next. Thank you for this incredible gesture. I’ll never take it for granted!”
