ABC News has announced promotions for executives Jenn Metz, John Santucci, Katherine Faulders, and Ben Siegel across its vast news operations.
In a memo to staffers, ABC News President Almin Karamehmedovic shared that the four had all received promotions in the organization.
“These are not just promotions,” Karamehmedovic said. “They are recognitions of character, growth, and commitment — and they reinforce what’s possible here when talent meets integrity, vision, and relentless drive.”
Metz had previously worked on World News Tonight with David Muir. She has been named the Executive Producer of Special Events and News Specials Planning, while continuing in her role with the nightly newscast.
Santucci is being promoted to Senior Executive Editorial Producer and Managing Editor of the Investigative Unit and Strategic Initiatives. He’s been with the network for more than 15 years after originally joining as an intern and working as an overnight weekend guest booker. He later rose to roles at Good Morning America and This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
Faulders has been named the new Washington Bureau Managing Editor, a newly created position by ABC News. She’ll lead the network’s efforts in the nation’s capital, where she originally arrived in 2013 as a desk assistant. She also previously worked as an embedded reporter during the 2016 presidential primary campaigns and the election in November.
Siegel, who has also been based at the network’s Washington bureau, will now serve as the Deputy Political Director and Coordinating Producer. He joined the network in 2014 and spent eight years as a reporter and producer covering the political scene, focusing on Congress. He has also previously worked as a Senior Producer at the Stephanopoulos-led show.
