Jenn Hobby is set to depart Star 94 Atlanta after nine years. She is joining CURE Childhood Cancer as Brand & Communications Director.
The Atlanta market veteran was a previous co-host on “The Bert Show” on Top 40 Q100, as well as a time spent with Country Kicks 101.5.
Hobby said, “For the past 25 years, radio has given me a dynamic career and an influential voice in our community. But going through a cancer battle with your child changes you forever. We are incredibly fortunate that our daughter is healthy and cancer-free, and now I have an opportunity to use my voice to serve families in this fight against childhood cancer. I deeply believe that children deserve better treatment. I am passionate about bringing my storytelling expertise and media background to CURE Childhood Cancer. It’s where I’m meant to be.”
Kristin Connor, CURE Childhood Cancer CEO, added, “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jenn to our team. She brings an extraordinary blend of authenticity, passion, and communication talent to this role. Jenn understands the childhood cancer journey in a deeply personal way, and that lived experience drives everything she does. Her heart for children and families, combined with her gift for connecting with people, makes her uniquely equipped to help advance CURE’s mission and amplify the voices that need to be heard.”
Hobby will have a farewell transition period with Star 94.
