CNN has announced the appointment of Adam Cancryn as a new White House reporter for the network.
Cancryn joins after previously working in a similar role at Politico. He covered both the Biden and Trump administrations during his tenure at the digital outlet.

I’m absolutely thrilled, and can’t wait to get started.”
Prior to working the White House for Politico, he spent five years reporting on health care politics and policy on Capitol Hill for Politico. In that role, he co-authored the outlet’s Pulse newsletter dedicated to the healthcare industry.
He began his career as a business reporter for S&P Global Market Intelligence before joining Politico.
In his new role at CNN, Adam Cancryn will be based at the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau.
