Dan Le Batard announced today that he is launching a podcast network in the new year. The Le Batard and Friends Podcast Network will debut its full lineup in January. The first peak at the content will come on December 18.
The flagship show will be South Beach Sessions, where Le Batard will host a weekly series of in-depth interviews. The preview episode will drop next week and features Jemele Hill, who left ESPN for The Atlantic earlier this year. Future episodes will feature conversations with Joe Buck, comedian and Chapelle Show creator Neil Brennan, and 2 Live Crew founder Luther Campbell.
Dan Le Batard’s radio show is ESPN’s most downloaded podcast. The network will be independent from that. A website featuring Le Batard and Friends content and an online store is expected to launch soon.
