Fox PBC Fight Night has announced two additions to its ringside announce team. Three-time heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis will serve as an analyst. Joe Goossen, the legendary trainer of the likes of Riddick Bowe and “Sugar” Shane Mosley, will also be at the table. The blow-by-blow will be called by Kenny Albert.
The rest of the broadcast crew includes former lightweight champion Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, hosts Chris Myers and Kate Abdo, ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr., rules expert Larry Hazzard Sr. and reporter Heidi Androl.
The crew will make its debut Saturday night, when Fox broadcasts a card headlined by twins Jermell and Jermall Charlo. They are the WBC’s middleweight and super welterweight champions respectively. The fights will also be simulcast in Spanish on Fox Deportes.
“We’re thrilled to put together a great group of boxing experts and broadcasters for the first Premier Boxing Champions show on FOX this weekend,” Steve Becker, Fox Sports’ Vice President of Production said in a press release. “In addition, we’ll mix in several of the biggest boxers today on the broadcast, including heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, welterweight champion Keith Thurman and junior middleweight champion Jarrett Hurd, letting them add their insights and knowledge to the mix.”
