98.7 ESPN New York will remain the radio home of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers for the foreseeable future. The station announced today that it had reached an agreement with MSG Networks to extend the broadcast relationship that has been in place for fifteen years already.
In addition to broadcasting games and pre and post-game coverage, ESPN New York will also carry the audio stream of both teams’ games on ESPNNewYork.com and The ESPN App. Tim McCarthy, vice president and GM of 98.7 ESPN said the teams’ broadcasts “serve as an integral component of our programming lineup.”
Adam Levine, executive vice president of Business Affairs & Distribution for MSG Networks, said in a press release that he is pleased to continue “a shared vision for serving our fans” with 98.7 ESPN New York.
