Leah Hextall will handle play-by-play duties for all four games in the East Regional of the NCAA Men’s Hockey Tournament across ESPN’s family of networks. She will become the first woman to ever call play-byplay of the men’s NCAA Hockey Tournament.
Hextall previously worked as a rinkside reporter and studio host for ESPN during the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. She currently calls play-by-play of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League on Sportsnet.

She will be paired with NHL Network analyst Billy Jaffe, who played his college hockey at the University of Michigan. The duo will make its debut on Saturday afternoon during the matchup between Minnesota State and Providence on ESPNEWS.
