According to a report from The Big Lead, Renee Young has emerged as the favorite to host the WWE studio show that Triple H announced in April would be coming to FS1.
Young has been with the WWE since 2012. Since that time she has served as a host and backstage interviewer. She is currently the color commentator on USA Network’s WWE Raw broadcast.
Ryan Glasspiegal of The Big Lead considers Young an ideal candidate to fill the host’s seat on the upcoming FS1 show.
Young would be an excellent choice by FOX Sports for the program as she has a great wink-nod understanding with the audience on the surreality of professional wrestling. This was most prominently on display when she hosted Talking Smack, a WWE Smackdown postgame show that famously featured a heated confrontation between The Miz and a then-retired Daniel Bryan, which she handled immaculately.

Much is still to be determined about the new show, and it should be noted that while Renee Young may be the favorite right now, nothing is a done deal. FS1 would also still need to announce who will fill the studio analyst roles and a premier date for the show. WWE Smackdown moves to FOX this fall.
