Royals Extend Broadcast Deal With 610 Sports Radio

Kansas City Royals games have been heard on 610 Sports Radio since 2008, and both the team and the station have decided they want that partnership to continue. The Entercom station will remain the team’s flagship through 2024 under the terms of a new deal announced on Monday.

“We are very pleased to extend this valued partnership for five more years,” Regional President and Market Manager of Entercom Kansas City, Dave Alpert said in a press release. “The Royals are part of the thread of Kansas City and it’s a privilege for 610 Sports Radio to be the flagship station of the team.”

Under the terms of the new deal, all 162 games and any postseason action will be heard on 610 Sports Radio. Weekend and night time spring training games will also air on 610 with weekday afternoon spring games airing on sister station 1660 the Score.
