Fans of Ben & Skin are very familiar with the 105.3 the Fan hosts’ love of beer. The duo often broadcasts live from local breweries as part of their Brew Crew Tour. It seems Ben & Skin are no longer content to just be fans of beer. They are getting into the business themselves.
Ben Rogers and Jeff “Skin” Wade will open Rollertown Beerworks in the Dallas suburb of Celina. Their target is to be ready for customers next year.
105.3 the Fan moved Ben & Skin out of afternoons and into mid days earlier this year. At the time the hosts acknowledged that they welcomed the move, but did not say why aside from that there was a business opportunity that would not have been possible if they were working in afternoon drive.
The Rollertown Beerworks space is substantial. It is a 7000 square foot warehouse with seven barrels for brewing. It will also house a new location of a popular local restaurant called Tender Smokehouse.
