103.7 the Buzz Fires Eric Sullivan

Eric Sullivan, sports radio host for 103.7 The Buzz in Little Rock, Arkansas was fired by the station after he was accused of stealing cash from a woman’s purse at a local restaurant.

Sullivan worked for The Buzz for more than three years, joining the station in Aug. 2016 to co-host their weekday program Out of Bounds, which aired daily from 1- 4pm. Sullivan has since been removed from the station’s website.

Ch. 7 KATV, an ABC affiliate in Little Rock reports Sullivan has been accused of stealing $409 from 24-year old Destiny Foley. According to the police report, Foley, who works at Sauced Bar and Oven, left her purse on a table at the restaurant to use the restroom. The next day Foley noticed cash was missing from her bag.

Foley viewed, and shared surveillance footage on her Facebook page that clearly shows someone unzip a wallet and remove cash. She was not working at the time of the theft, but recognized Sullivan from being a regular at the restaurant.

As of Saturday, Sullivan had only been accused of theft and was not criminally charged, but when reached for comment by KATV, the sports radio host did not deny wrongdoing.

“I need to address something to you all: I’ve made a monumental career mistake & I take full responsibility for it, I let many people down as well as the listeners and great people at 103.7 the Buzz and I will own that for the rest of my life,” Sullivan said in a statement sent to KATV.

Foley does intend to press charges on the former 103.7 The Buzz employee.
