ESPN doesn’t seem to have plans to break up it’s 6pm SportsCenter desk anytime soon. The network has inked a multiyear extension with co-anchor Kevin Negandhi according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Details of the deal are unknown.
The network’s flagship news program has seen its ratings grow since Negandhi and Sage Steele began hosting the 6pm edition of SportsCenter each weeknight. The duo was put in place to stabilize ratings and re-establish the brand as being news and highlights focused in 2018.
Negandhi first came to ESPN from Sarasota, Florida in 2006. In addition to SportsCenter, he is also instrumental in the network’s coverage of college football and the Special Olympics.
