Adam Amin Bolts ESPN For FOX Sports

Adam Amin has been one of ESPN’s most versatile rising stars on the network’s play-by-play roster. Unfortunately for the World Wide Leader, he won’t be on their roster for much longer.

Andrew Marchand of The New York Post reports that Amin has reached a deal to join FOX Sports. FOX reportedly intends to take advantage of Amin’s ability to call a variety of sports. He’s expected to call Major League Baseball games, either college football or NFL games, and college basketball games.

Amin joined ESPN in 2011 at the age of 24, quickly becoming one of the network’s youngest game-callers. He called a plethora of sports for the network including college football, the Women’s Final Four, college basketball, NBA and MLB coverage. He was also involved on play-by-play and hosting for the Women’s College World Series, the McDonald’s High School All-American Games, Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, and NCAA wrestling, volleyball, and baseball championships.

A versatile broadcaster, Amin served as one of ESPN Radio’s lead announcers for NBA, NFL, and MLB broadcasts during the regular season and playoffs. He’s also provided play by play for Chicago Bears preseason NFL telecasts, Sports USA Radio NFL and college football broadcasts, and handled hosting and reporting duties for Turner Sports Digital/NCAA Productions, FOX Sports Wisconsin, the Illinois High School Association and the Horizon League Network.

FOX Sports declined to comment publicly on the report.
