Former University of Texas linebacker Emmanuel Acho has been a fast rising star at ESPN. Now, his ascent and growing name recognition will benefit FOX. Outkick the Coverage’s Bobby Burack reports that Acho is finalizing a deal to join FS1.
Acho will be apart of First Things First, finally filling the seat vacated by Cris Carter in November. He will work alongside Nick Wright, Jenna Wolfe, and Kevin Wildes.

The Big Lead was the first to report flirtations between FS1 and Acho back in February. After seeing his star rise as an analyst on Get Up!, Acho will now go head to head with that very show every weekday morning.

Will he also work on game coverage or will it just be these debate shows. He was really good in studio the last couple of seasons.
