WNFL in Green Bay is trying to sound a little more local. The station announced on Friday that it would simulcast shows originating from Milkwaukee’s 97.3 the Game on the weekdays beginning June 22.
Currently, WNFL’s daytime lineup consists mostly of FOX Sports Radio programming. The Bill Michaels Show, which originates from 105.7 the Fan in Milwaukee and is syndicated across Wisconsin, will lose WNFL as an affiliate.
The Midwest Communications station will take Steve Czaban’s morning show, both of the Game’s mid day shows, and Drew & KB in afternoon drive.
Jay Hillery, the OM of Midwest Communications’s Green Bay cluster says that he could not resist the chance to have more Wisconsin-focused programming on the station. “We’re excited about this line-up, and we’re excited about the future of this station,” he said in a press release.
