Mo Gaba is taking over the airwaves at 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore this Thursday, co-hosting from 6 – 9pm alongside Jeremy Conn.
Known as Lil’ Mo, the 14-year old Baltimore sports super fan is a three-time cancer survivor who is currently battling the disease for a fourth time. Having lost his vision at just nine months old, it’s estimated that Lil’ Mo has spent 75% of his life in the hospital.
For years, Lil’ Mo has been a frequent caller on 105.7 The Fan and built a local celebrity status, drawing the attention of the Ravens and Orioles. Gaba’s toughness, resiliency and unwavering positivity touches everyone he speaks with. Recently, the Fan’s evening host, Jeremy Conn announced one of his most popular callers is taking over show. For three hours Thursday night, Conn will co-host The Big Mo Show live from Lil’ Mo’s bedroom.
Two weeks ago, BSM shared the story of Lil’ Mo receiving a parade to celebrate his eighth-grade graduation, which had CBS Sports Radio host Damon Amendolara getting emotional on the airwaves. DA calls the 14-year old his hero and this past weekend he traveled to Baltimore to visit Lil’ Mo.
