ESPN West Palm Celebrates The Decision’s 10th Anniversary

It has been ten years since LeBron James announced he was “taking my talents to South Beach.” ESPN recently did a retrospective on the event as part of Don Van Natta’s Backstory series. Not to be left out, ESPN Palm Beach is bringing a local feel to the walk down memory lane.

The station will host a commercial free one-hour special on Wednesday called The Decision Ten Years Later. The show will be hosted by Evan Cohen and SVP and Brian “McLovin” Rowitz.

In addition to sharing their own memories of July 8, 2010, the duo will welcome Miami Heat play-by-play man Eric Reid. The TV voice of the team is the one that asked LeBron how many championships he thought he, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh could win in Miami. That question elicited James’s famous “Not one. Not two. Not three,” response.

ESPN West Palm is also asking fans to share their memories of the day and the Heatles on the station’s social media pages.
