FOX Sports host Chris Meyers has signed a deal with Podcast One to produce an interview show. CMI: The Chris Meyers Interview launches on August 26 and will feature “revealing interviews” with well-known athletes and broadcasters according to a company press release.
“I’m sitting on the beach in Santa Barbara and next to me is Chris Myers and a very famous athlete,” Podcast One Executive Chairman Norm Pattiz said in a press release. “I said to Chris ‘Do you think this guy would guest on your podcast?’ Chris replied “I don’t have a podcast.’ Well he does now and it’s right here on PodcastOne. We couldn’t be happier,”
Among the guests already lined up for the show are Urban Meyer, Troy Aikman and Reggie Jackson. Given Meyers’s involvement in covering Major League Baseball, NASCAR, and The NFL for FOX, he will certainly have the opportunity to grow that list of impressive names as the podcast goes on.
“Anytime you have a chance to share a conversation with the most accomplished and interesting personalities in and around sports it’s a good thing and I am excited to do that with CMI: The Chris Myers Interview on PodcastOne where you can eavesdrop on people you know or would like to,” Meyers said.
