Sports, music, fashion, education and politics, Jalen Rose is a renaissance man with many interests and ventures. Fittingly, The Renaissance Man is the name of his new podcast and multi-platform partnership with The New York Post.
Set to launch sometime in the fall, Rose will debut a weekly column, video and podcast series for The Post. The former NBA star will continue his work with ESPN where he’s featured on Jalen & Jacoby, Countdown and Get Up. “Being able to express myself in three different ways keeps it from ever becoming mundane,” Rose told BSM in an interview last year. Now he’s adding even more to his plate in the new partnership with The Post.
“The New York Post is an institution,” Rose said in the press release. “The Renaissance Man is about celebrating culture, those who create it and advance it, and I am honored to be given this platform to share my insights and speak with people I admire about topics that matter in today’s world. I appreciate the team at the Post for showing me love, believing in this concept and helping bring it to life.”
Rose’s column for The Post will be available digitally and in print, while the podcasts will be offered on all listening platforms. According to the press release, Rose will interview celebrities, athletes and other professionals for conversations of sports, entertainment, fashion, education, entrepreneurship, technology, food, healthy living, travel, and more.
