Dan McNeil is out at 670 the Score in Chicago. Robert Feder reports that an internal memo was sent announcing the move today.
“NFL sideline reporter or a host for the AVN annual awards presentation?” McNeil tweeted during the first game of this week’s Monday Night Football doubleheader. The tweet was accompanied by a photo of Taylor on the sidelines.
McNeil deleted the tweet 30 minutes later, but the damage had already been done. Fans tweeted screen caps of the comment back at McNeil throughout much of the rest of the night.
“For each one of us our words have power,” Rachel Williamson, senior vice president and market manager of Entercom Chicago, wrote in the email to her staff. “For our brands and on-air personalities that is amplified and brings increased responsibility in how we chose to use our voices. Last night’s tweet, and its degrading and humiliating tone to a fellow female broadcaster, was unacceptable.”
This was the third go-round at the Score for McNeil. He first started working at the station in 1992. He did not respond to Feder’s request for comment.
McNeil’s now-former partner Danny Parkins will host their show on his own on Tuesday. No word yet on any long-term plans to fill the vacancy on the afternoon show.
Really? Dan McNeil, a bloated, hideous pig with yellow teeth, is actually critical of someone else’s appearance?

Da-Ma-Naaaa……….taught, mentored and schooled by the best (and worst) Chet Coppock and Terry Boers—those two of all things sexist in the days (early 90’s) I guess it was still expected. Dan never lost it, Boers had to–time caught up with him even if his partner, Bernstein never got the memo. The SCORE is a cesspool of old ways—Spiegel, Bernstein, Levine, McNeil—each have had their run at sexism. Only one was fired–you connect the dots on that one. Either way, its still a cesspool, and how dare the aforementioned (add in Parkins) continue with their daily mantras of all things PC and SJW and nearly anti Sport at the rest of us. Bunch of dirty old guys all they really are now. Their show Producers need to clean it up too—some of the sound drops they do and twitter posting they themselves make are awful close to the line of both sexism and racism—(white hating). They all should be on Notice over there. If McNeil a SCORE original can be tanked, no reason why a Spiegel, Bernstein or Levine shouldnt be—and Parkins too is really a fine line walker with the SJW stuff and damnation of White People Conservatives. Get back to Sports and quit thinking you’re some kind of Public Service Organization. Its not working, and McNeil just proved it thinking there is no line to be crossed at that place anymore.
