ESPN has another multi-part 30 for 30 documentary in the works. This one will cover the life and career of Oscar Pistorius, the South African Paralympian that became the first double amputee to compete in the Olympics. The film will also examine the events that led to Pistorius shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in February of 2013.
The documentary is titled The Life and Trials of Oscar Pistorius. It’s directed by Dan Gordon, who previously directed 9.79* for the 30 for 30 brand in 2012.
The Life and Trials of Oscar Pistorius will make its debut on ESPN+. It is broken up into four episodes, each clocking in at well over an hour. The entire series will debut this fall.
