Local news radio personalities across the country took to Twitter during Tuesday’s heated debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
“Who has used more harsh language in this debate? Biden by a mile,” tweeted KTAR host Larry Gaydos. {Biden} Called Trump a clown and told him to shut up. Biden called Trump the worst president we’ve ever had.”
Trump pressed Biden about his son’s dealings with China, Russia, and Ukraine. At one-point moderator Chris Wallace said that he was having trouble following the President.
“If you managed to watch the entire Presidential debate, congratulations,” a tweet from KGO’s Chip Franklin read. “You are a stronger human than I.”
Howie Carr host of the Howie Carr Show used his social media to rip Fox’s Chris Wallace who moderated the debate. “Is it too late to get Joe Rogan as moderator for the next debate?”
WCCO’s Chad Hartman called the debate “awful” and said the President’s interruptions were “embarrassing and typical of his bullying behavior.”
The debate was labeled the most tumultuous presidential debate in recent memory. WSB’s Erick Erickson reacted with astonishment as the insults flew, “I don’t know what I’m watching, this is something.”
“Thank God it’s Over,” said WIBC’s Chicks on The Right.
The next presidential debate will take place on Oct. 15 in Miami with the final debate on Oct. 22 in Nashville, Tenn.
