Kate Scott Joins 95.7 The Game In Lineup Shuffle

After Joe Fortenbaugh left the morning show on 95.7 The Game for ESPN two months ago, the Bay Area sports radio station has announced a revamped lineup.

Previously, Fortenbaugh captained their morning show alongside Lorenzo Neal and Dan Dibley. For their new lineup, The Game is moving Dibley to middays with Neal continuing his role as their lead NFL Insider, but will no longer be featured as a full-time host. Dibley will swap timeslots with Bonta Hill to join current midday co-hosts Matt Steinmetz and Daryle “The Guru” Johnson.

The new morning show set to debut Oct. 12, features Bonta Hill, Joe Shasky and Kate Scott. Shasky gets the morning drive opportunity after a successful run co-hosting The Game’s weeknight show with Ryan Covay.

For Scott, joining Hill and Shasky on The Game’s new morning show marks a return to sports radio in the Bay Area, having previously spent six years as a full-time on-air contributor to KNBR. Most recently, Scott has worked as a play-by-play voice, anchor, host and reporter for the Pac—12 Network. With KNBR, Scott was a full-time anchor on the popular morning show Murph & Mac. No longer an anchor, now Scott’s a full-time co-host with The Game and a direct competitor to Murph & Mac.

With Shasky moving to morning drive, the final lineup change features John Dickinson joining Ryan Covay weeknights from 7 – 10pm PT. Dickinson and Covay follow Sean Salisbury’s recently launched nightly one-hour show for The Game which airs weekdays from 6 – 7pm.

  1. you may have lost me as a morning listener due to two words… kate scott.. could not stand her on KNBR.. she would not shut up when she started and she was more of a fact checker than a host. talked way to much. i stopped listening to KNBR even tho i got a kick out of radnich. i will give her a chance.. but will not at all be reluctant to stop listening. i loved the morning guys. on the 10:00 shift i called in a couple of times to talk hoops.. hopefully KS has mellowed out and not trying to run the show like she did at KNBR

    • Dude, Kate Scott was AWESOME with Gary Radnich. Stop hating. I’m excited bc joe lo and Dobbs had lost my interest over the past year.

  2. Kate Scott will be a great addition to 95.7. She will bring her wealth of knowledge of sports without stooping to juvenile humour of the sports leader.
    Her previous employer.
This is a great hire and wish her the best

  3. Good to see someone of her sexual preference lesbian being represented in SF radio market.

Could to hear somebody than the refreshed talent and amateur hires of 95.7. They hire people off the street in contests.

    Shaskey .

Changes other not god just changing people around. Would been better if the released a few less ppl on the air is better.

Give them a year or less before they change again.

i can program the station better than whoever is doing it

  5. Great news! Welcome back to the morning slot. I’ve really missed listening to Kate on KNBR, and I think they really missed an opportunity to sharpen their takes on the sports scene.
