Amazon Prime Adding New Talent, New Features For TNF

Amazon is not resting on its laurels in its presentation of Thursday Night Football. The tech giant announced on Monday that big names including Cari Champion, Chad Johnson, and Joy Taylor have been added to cover the games, and a new presentation titled Scout Feed will be introduced for fans that want to follow the action in a more technical way.

Scout Feed will see The Herd co-host Joy Taylor paired with Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah to give a more in-depth break down of each play as it happens. It will be the fourth option Amazon viewers can choose from. FOX’s feed featuring Troy Aikman and Joe Buck, the FOX Deportes feed with Adrián García Márquez and Rolando Cantú, and an original Amazon Prime feed with Hannah Storm and Andrea Kreamer all return from previous seasons.

The show will air Tuesdays at 8 pm. A new show with Kyle Long and Chad Johnson called The NFL Machine will see the hosts interacting with NFL Films content. it will air Wednesdays.

Twitch is also getting some exclusive content for Thursday Night Football this year. The Amazon-owned company will stream NFL Next Live during games this season. Cari Champion and Andrew Hawkins will comment on the game as it happens and answer questions from Twitch users in the platform’s chat stream.

This week marks Amazon’s first foray into Thursday Night Football of the 2020 season. It’s a good matchup too, as the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers go to Chicago to face the 3-1 Bears.
