Fox News correspondent Gillian Turner was on “Outnumbered,” where she shared her story
about contracting COVID-19 last month.
The former State Department official stated that she tested positive for the virus despite taking
all the precautions like wearing a mask and socially distancing while indoors.
“I have some first-person perspective to offer here: I myself had COVID. I am fully recovered,
and it was a blessedly mild case, but my doctors were not ever effectively able to figure out how
I contracted it,” Turner said.
Turner went into detail about her ordeal with COVID-19, and that despite sharing a house with
her husband, he tested negative while her test result was positive. The Fox News
correspondent added that there’s still a mystery surrounding COVID-19.
“The reality is that the medical community still doesn’t know everything there is to know about
how the common cold is transmitted,” Turner said.
She concluded by saying that it could take decades before finding out the lasting effects of the
virus.
