With three weeks to go until the 2020 Presidential Elections, President Trump and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani have an “October surprise,” which is over a secret laptop that allegedly contains Hunter Biden’s emails to change the race’s momentum.
As a result of this surprise, Trevor Noah discussed the matter on “The Daily Show” and criticized this strategy from the president.
“With three weeks to go until Election Day, and millions of votes already cast, coronavirus remains the top issue for America,” Trevor Noah said. “And any normal president would be laser-focused on getting corona under control, helping businesses stay afloat, keeping schools open. But Donald Trump is not a normal president.”
“Honestly, it’s insane that Trump’s people are even going after Biden by targeting his son,” Noah said. “If these were my sons,” he continued, referring to Eric and Donald Trump Jr., “I’d maintain a strict ‘kids are off-limits’ policy.” Noah concludes this monologue by stating that the Trump campaign is pulling a move from their 2016 playbook. We’ll see if this maneuver helps the president with a few weeks left until election day.
