CBS Sports Network Extends Boomer & Gio Simulcast Deal

Entercom and CBS Sports Network will continue to share content in the morning. The companies announced on Tuesday that they had agreed to a new deal that keeps Boomer & Gio on television.

CBS Sports Network began simulcasting WFAN’s morning show in January of 2014. It was still Boomer & Carton at that time. Gregg Giannotti came in as co-host following Craig Carton’s 2017 arrest.

Boomer & Gio represents the strength of our daytime programming on CBS Sports Network, bringing viewers the latest news in sports through the lens of two of the industry’s top personalities in Boomer and Gregg,” Dan Weinberg, Executive Vice President of Programming for CBS Sports, said in a press release. “We are excited to continue as the television home to Boomer & Gio.”

While Boomer and Gio is the only WFAN show that is simulcast on CBS Sports Network, it is far from the only radio show. CBS Sports Network also simulcasts The Jim Rome Show weekdays at noon and Tiki and Tierny immediately after at 3 pm. Both are part of CBS Sports Radio.
